Texas State Iron Pour
On Friday, April 24th, visiting artists from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi will provide students, faculty, and the public with an introduction to cast iron. This event will include mold making workshops and a live performance by Jack Gron and the Hold Steady Crew. Jack Gron is former chair of the Department of Art at TAMUCC and developer of the Mobile Foundry Project, which has travelled to numerous universities and public performance venues. The Hold Steady Crew is collective of graduate students from TAMUCC who will be available to discuss TXST student work, the graduate school experience, professional endeavors, as well as ALL THINGS IRON!
