This exhibition will consist of interior work curated for the Arts Center’s Texas Gallery and exterior work for the Wolf Pen Creek Park adjacent to the gallery. The interior work will be exhibited for approximately one month while the exterior sculpture space will be shown for approximately one year. A portion of the outside work may move to the grounds of Texas A&M University later in the year pending formal approval from the University.

Drop off work at Arts Center:Â Friday, Saturday, April 15 and 16, 2016
Work for the interior portion of the exhibition can be hand delivered or shipped, but must be received by Saturday, April 16. Shipped work must be insured by sender. Both delivery and install of exterior work will take place on Friday and Saturday. All works exhibited in the show are subject to final approval of Arts Council staff.
Monday and Tuesday, April 18, 19 will be the install for interior work.  We will have a design/install crew from the TSG with assistance from the Arts Center for installation. If you would rather install your work, especially if it is complicated, you should plan on being at the Arts Center on Monday or Tuesday for your installation.

Description
This is a curated exhibition open to all members of the Texas Sculpture Group.
Work should be recent, within the last two years.
The Texas Gallery is 920 square feet with wall height of 11’4â€. The gallery has a cable hanging system for wall work, but in cases deemed necessary, attachments can be made directly to the wall, subject to final approval of Arts Council staff. Works requiring attachment to the floor of the indoor gallery will not be accepted.
There are no pads for exterior work, but the park is on level land.
A catalog of work in the exhibition will be available at the opening reception. The artist will be responsible for supplying a high resolution photograph of their work for the catalog.
The Arts Center has graciously awarded us $6500 for curation, catalog and to assist with delivery. A $200 stipend will be awarded to those participating, primarily to assist with shipping, delivery and installation.
A 30% commission will be used for work sold.
All work will be insured for the duration of the exhibition.
What to Submit
Sculptural Works
Submit up to 3 pieces with up to 3 images of each. The work can be wall hanging, freestanding, a pedestal piece, or installation. If you are submitting an exterior work for consideration, be aware of the piece being in the elements for a year. If your work comes with a pedestal include it in the entry image of the work and inform us that it will have a pedestal.
Video, Sound or Other Media
Submit up to 3 works with up to 3 images of the work or drawings and/or video or sound files (no longer than 3 minutes please). Written materials that help describe the work may accompany if applicable.
Proposals for Installations or Performance
Use the same guidelines as above. You may submit images of past similar work, drawings, video, etc. of past work if you are proposing something that is not yet realized.
