[San Angelo] TSG Artist Members Converge on San Angelo for International Sculpture Competition and Symposium

Congratulations to TSG Members Elizabeth Akamatsu, Danville Chadbourne, Valerie Chaussonnet, Dewane Hughes, Michelle O’Michael, and new member Kevin Stanford for being selected into the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts International Sculpture Competition, along with 8 other artists from around the country and beyond. 

Opening Day kicks off with a Sculpture Symposium from 1:30-4:30pm hosted by Angelo State University, featuring competition juror Katie Robinson Edwards and TSG Member Suguru Hiraide, whose sculpture is on display in the ASU Art Department’s 193 Gallery. The Exhibition Opening and Reception in the Sunken Garden Park takes place Friday, October 18 from 5:30-8pm. All events are free and open to the public.
